Born from a lifelong love of dogs

My passion for dogs began during childhood, when every single Christmas list featured a picture of a cute poodle until my parents finally gave in. After spending years working with SEND children, having my two adorable Cavapoos, Barney and Belle, sparked a true lightbulb moment. Combining my caring background with animal welfare inspired the launch of The Wright Groom, creating a warm and welcoming space where every dog receives tailored, affectionate attention.

Qualified care and gentle methods

Your dog's safety and wellbeing are always my top priorities. I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming along with certified K9 First Aid training. Having worked closely with nervous pups, I closely observe changes in behaviour and subtle signs of stress. If a dog feels overwhelmed, I immediately pause the groom or offer soothing breaks, ensuring every appointment remains calm, positive, and reassuring.

Unlike bustling, high-volume grooming parlours, The Wright Groom operates entirely on a peaceful, one-to-one basis. This approach ensures your dog has my undivided care and quiet companionship throughout their appointment. By taking the time to build trust and tailor each styling session to your pet's temperament, we help even the most hesitant dogs feel completely at home in our salon.
